Education & Professional Development

CTRAC promotes professional excellence through structured education and ongoing professional development that support competency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality therapeutic recreation and activity services.

Education and professional development represent two distinct, yet interconnected, components of professional growth:

Education

Structured, credential-aligned learning that establishes foundational knowledge and professional competency required for certification and compliant practice.

Professional Development

Ongoing learning experiences that strengthen clinical reasoning, leadership capacity, documentation accuracy, and service effectiveness beyond initial credential attainment.

All learning activities must align with the CTRAC Body of Knowledge to ensure relevance and professional applicability.
